Andrés Alcarraz

Andrés Alcarraz is an experienced Back End Developer currently employed at Oktana since January 2024, with an extensive background in software development and system engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Centromac S.R.L. since 2007, Andrés specializes in Java and Java EE applications for IoT sensor networks and server administration. Previous roles include Senior Developer at Transactility, Inc., focusing on jPOS-based payment solutions, and owner of a jPOS consultancy. Additionally, Andrés has held various software engineering positions, including creating ISO 8583 transaction systems and applications, along with experience as a Teacher Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay.
