Murtaza Rangwala has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Murtaza started their career at Citibank in 2000 as a Manager Credit, ensuring high-quality assets for the company. Murtaza then joined ITC Limited in 2000, where they held various roles, including Category Finance Manager for the Confectionery Business and Finance Head Western India for ITC Agri. During their tenure at ITC, they played a key role in the e-Choupal initiative, which transformed the soybean export supply chain using digital technology. In 2007, they joined Olam International as a Finance Controller for Edible Nuts, where they partnered with the business to analyze financial and operational information and develop management reporting systems. In 2012, they joined Kellogg Company as the Group Finance Manager for Asia Snacks, focusing on business success through market and product strategies. Lastly, in 2015, they returned to Olam as the Global CFO for Grains, Freight & Trade Structure Finance, collaborating closely with business CEOs to achieve financial performance targets. In 2022, they became the President & CFO of Olam Agri, leading strategic business partnerships, finance transformation, corporate restructuring, and team building. Throughout their career, Murtaza has consistently achieved strong financial results and contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have worked for.
Murtaza Rangwala obtained a degree in Management Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India in 1998. From 1996 to 1999, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and earned a degree in Finance & Accounts. In 2008 and 2009, they pursued a CPA degree in Accounts & Finance from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
