Shawn Liang

Shawn Liang began their work experience in 2011 as a Research Assistant at Guangdong University of Technology. They then worked as a Lab Assistant at the South China Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they became a Research Associate at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they collaborated with a chemical engineering PhD candidate on high energy Boron-Iodine cluster synthesis research. They later joined Troy Corporation as a Research Chemist in 2016, where they discovered new synthesis routines for existing products. In 2017, Shawn joined eos Products as a Product Development Scientist, focusing on developing and reformulating formulas for different market compliance. They are currently working as a Research Chemist at Olaplex Inc. as of 2022.

Shawn Liang completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Guangdong University of Technology. Shawn then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
