David Klein

David Klein, CFP®, currently serves as the Administrator of the Area Agency on Aging at Old Colony Planning Council since March 2020, advocating for individuals aged 60 and over and managing federal funds for community-based support services. Prior to this role, David was the Director of the Council on Aging for the Town of Carlisle from July 2012 to March 2020, overseeing elder services and policy initiatives. David also co-directed the Council on Aging in Abington, Massachusetts from September 2009 to July 2012. Earlier experience includes financial advisory roles at New York Life Insurance Company and Principal Financial Group, as well as managerial positions in retirement services at Rockland Trust Company, John Hancock Life Insurance Company, and Putnam Investments. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Language from Villanova University and a Master of Science in Applied Management from Lesley University.
