Matthew Dyer

Matthew Dyer is a seasoned professional in transportation planning and environmental management, currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner at the Old Colony Planning Council since September 2023. In addition, Matthew operates a small business and has held various roles in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including Program Forester, Regional Co-Forester, and Urban and Community Forester, contributing to sustainable forestry practices from 2017 to 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Selectman for the Town of Hanson and working in support and educational roles, including as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service. Matthew holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Thomas College and a B.S. in Parks, Recreation, and Ecotourism from Unity Environmental University.
