Brian Poladian

Brian Poladian is an experienced FPGA Engineer currently working at Old Mission since January 2023. Previously, Brian held the position of Sr Staff Hardware Engineer at Synopsys Inc from November 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included the architecture and schematic capture of multi-blade FPGA backplane systems, C++ application development for autorouting, and firmware development for embedded microblaze systems. Prior to that, from September 2005 to November 2019, Brian served as a Senior Engineer at The Dini Group, focusing on FPGA hardware design for ASIC prototyping, low-latency trading systems, and algorithmic acceleration applications, utilizing technologies such as Virtex and Stratix. Brian began the engineering career as an Associate Engineer, contributing to FPGA daughtercard design for ASIC systems. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, earned in 2007.
