Steven Yao

Steven Yao is a Software Engineer currently employed at Old Mission since August 2023. Previous experience includes software engineering internships at Jump Trading LLC, where Steven developed a cross-chain decentralized application and contributed to core technologies, and at Google, where development of a RESTful ad server was completed using Golang. Steven also interned at Amazon, creating a scalable backend service with Java and AWS technologies. As a project lead and research assistant in the Nanomaterial Fabrication and Characterization Laboratory, Steven collaborated on experiments and published two research papers in nanomaterials. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
