Syed Komail Abbas

Syed Komail Abbas is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently at Old Mission since August 2019, Syed has previously held positions at PayPal (Braintree) and Citadel LLC, reinforcing expertise in software development. Syed's career began at Ronin Capital, where roles included quantitative developer and fixed income research analyst. An early role as an analytics intern at Thomson Reuters in 2010 further enriched Syed's technical foundation. Holding a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Lawrence University, complemented by A-Levels in Mathematics and Physics from Karachi Grammar School, and O-Levels from Happy Home School Karachi, Syed has built a strong academic background to support a successful career in software engineering.
