Phoebe Mwangi

Phoebe Mwangi is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in brand management and strategic communication. Currently serving as the Brand and Communication Lead at Old Mutual Kenya since October 2020, Phoebe has effectively led a team in executing the rebranding process across Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda while managing internal and external crisis communication. Prior roles include Communications Executive at UAP Old Mutual Kenya, where brand visibility was enhanced through media relationships and speechwriting, and Internal Communications Lead at UAP Kenya, responsible for internal campaigns and stakeholder engagement. Phoebe's career began with a PR internship at Yellowmoon, where project management and event organization were key responsibilities, and included freelance team-building facilitation. Phoebe holds a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Electronic Media, both from Daystar University.
