Joann O'Brien

JoAnn O'Brien is an experienced administrative professional currently serving as the Administrative Assistant to the Rector at Holy Name Cathedral since 2019, where responsibilities include managing communications with the Parish Council, Commissions, Congregation, and Clergy, as well as coordinating weddings. Since January 2000, JoAnn has also been a Wedding Coordinator at Old St. Patrick's Church, facilitating up to four weddings each weekend and providing hospitality and guidance to couples and families. Previously, JoAnn was the President of O'Brien Showcase of Creative Concepts from 1989 to 2013, leading a self-funded non-profit organization dedicated to presenting arts showcases for youth and family audiences in Illinois and the Greater Milwaukee area. In addition, experience as the Director of Public Relations & Special Events at Creative Concepts by Clemento involved coordinating joint ventures with charities and media outlets for corporate clients. JoAnn O'Brien holds a degree from Loyola University Chicago.
