Sophie Longbottom

Sophie Longbottom is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Teacher of English and Media at Oldham Sixth Form College since August 2022, specializing in AQA and Eduqas curricula for both English Language and Media Studies at the AS and A Level. Sophie has developed and produced innovative curriculum materials and plays a vital role in supporting students' emotional wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider. Previous experience includes the role of Children and Young People's Partnership Ambassador at Lancaster University Students' Union, focusing on creating a supportive classroom environment and teaching various subjects. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education currently in progress, a PGCE in Secondary English, and a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and English Language from Lancaster University, along with foundational studies at Xaverian College and St. Damian's R.C. Science College.
