Drew Cain

Drew Cain began their career in 2004 as a Technical Team Lead at DR Horton, where they were the lead developer on a team of three people tasked with creating internal web based applications for use in the company's HR department. In 2006, they joined ClickMotive as the Director of Technology Operations (DevOps) and later became the Director of Information Technology, managing a large software development team of more than 20 people. In 2012, they moved to Improving as a Principal Consultant and Team Lead for a group of consultants and QA personnel at Six Flag's corporate offices. In 2013, they joined Six Flags as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for implementing and delivering a new web based system used for guest ticketing and park admissions. In 2015, they joined Simpli.fi as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, overseeing management of mission critical Google Cloud, AWS, and IBM managed hosting infrastructure. Finally, in 2022, they joined Olea Edge Analytics as a Principal Software Engineer, leading a young DevOps discipline tasked with delivering key platform services for thousands of edge devices.

Drew Cain attended the University of North Texas from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Computer Information Systems. In June 2021, they obtained a certification in Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Coursera.
