Paul Hernandez

Paul Hernandez has 18 years of work experience in software engineering, development, and consulting. Paul began their career in 2000 as an Integration Consultant for Convio. In 2003, they became a Software Developer for LCRA and then moved to Momentum SI as a Sr. Consultant in 2004. In 2008, they joined Optaros as a Sr. Developer/Consultant and was responsible for designing a platform for content creation, syndication, and advertising. In 2009, they became a Senior Developer for MPower Mobile, Inc, where they extended a payment gateway enabling credit card payments via SMS. In 2010, they became a Senior Developer for AllClear ID, where they implemented a system to monitor consumer accounts at credit agencies. In 2012, they joined Spanning Cloud Apps as a Principal Developer, leading the development team to design and implement the Office 365 backup product. In 2018, they joined Pensa Systems as a Software Developer and was responsible for building scalable cloud-based services to support a data subscription business based on computer vision and machine learning. In 2020, they became a Staff Engineer for Bestow Life Insurance, where they scoped and led large technical projects to enable agency sales channels. Currently, they are a Principal Software Engineer for Olea Edge Analytics.

Paul Hernandez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 1994 and 1999.
