Iola Owen Kerns has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked in various customer services roles at YEDL, British Gas, and Barclays. In 2003, they joined Arts Photography Ltd, where they served as the Sales & Marketing Manager and later became the Operations Manager. Iola'sresponsibilities included staff management, operations, customer service, and marketing campaigns. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior IT Recruitment Consultant and Team Leader at RMI Consultants Ltd. Iola then joined Ethos Corporation in 2011 as an Executive Recruitment Consultant, specializing in senior-level candidates in the banking, finance, consultancy, and utilities sectors. In 2012, they became a Principal Consultant at ReThink Talent Management, focusing on business change and technology solutions. From 2015 to 2018, they held the role of Divisional Director - Business Change & Transformation at Rullion. Currently, they are working at Oliver James as an Associate Director in the Change & Technology field, responsible for recruitment services in the financial services, professional services, and commerce & industry sectors.
Iola Owen Kerns began their education in 1992 at Ysgol Eifionydd in Porthmadog, Wales, where they completed their GCSE's in 1997. Iola then attended Coleg Menai Bangor from 1997 to 2000, focusing on A-Levels in Computing, Maths, and Art & Design. Additionally, they completed an Art Foundation Course during this time. From 2000 to 2003, Iola pursued a BSc degree in Graphic Arts & Communication at the University of Leeds. Finally, in 2015 and 2016, they participated in the CMI Leadership Programme at the Chartered Management Institute.
