Marcos Rebelo

Marcos Rebelo is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Delivery Hero since January 2022, Marcos previously held roles such as Search Engineer/Data Scientist at Zalando SE and Principal Data Architect at Home24 AG, where significant contributions included the creation of the Discovery Team and architecture of a renowned data lake. With extensive experience across various companies, including Rocket Internet SE and HolidayCheck AG, Marcos has specialized in data product architecture, search and recommender systems, and has developed web services using a range of technologies such as Elasticsearch and Scala. Marcos holds a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Lisbon.
