Ryan McKenna

Ryan McKenna has a diverse work experience in the fields of information technology and software development. Ryan began their career at Shaw Communications in 2003, where they worked as a TSR and later transitioned into roles as a Software Developer and Internet Solutions Architect. During their time at Shaw Communications, they developed websites using various technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, node.js, and jQuery. Ryan also played a role in developing the Shaw Support desktop application for Windows.

In 2013, Ryan joined Olympia Trust Company, starting as a Manager in the Information Technology department. Ryan'sresponsibilities included managing hardware and software maintenance, providing training and consultation, and making recommendations for future planning and development of resources. Ryan later progressed to the role of Director, where they oversaw all IT functions in the company and managed the implementation of new IT systems and policies. Ryan then became the Vice President of Information Technology, where they organized and oversaw the daily operations of the division, implemented strategic goals, and managed procedures and coaching employees. Currently, they serve as the CIO of Olympia Trust Company.

Throughout their career, Ryan has demonstrated strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage and motivate teams.

Ryan McKenna attended DeVry Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In August 2013, they also received a certification in Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie.
