YenChe (Gigi) Huang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering and project management. YenChe (gigi) started their career in 2013 as a Volunteer in the Mechanical Subteam of the Hybrid Electric Vehicle Team of Virginia Tech (HEVT), where they inspected and developed solutions for transmission pump issues and assisted with engine test stand construction. In 2014, they joined the Formula Society of Automotive (FSAE) as an Official Member of the Electric Power-train Subteam, where they contributed to the design and analysis of battery modules for electric vehicles.

In 2015, YenChe worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Xing Mobility, Inc., focusing on the design and testing of cooling systems for batteries, motors, and power electronics. YenChe (gigi) also developed test beds for the performance testing of lithium-ion battery cells.

YenChe continued to gain experience in the electric vehicle industry, joining C1 - Electric All Terrain Tracked Vehicle Project in 2016 as a Co-Founder and Engineer. In 2018, YenChe took on multiple roles. YenChe (gigi) worked as a Mechanical Engineer at XING Mobility, where they gained experience in mechanical engineering. YenChe (gigi) also co-founded Rovilus, Inc., where they led the conversion of gasoline-powered go-karts into electric-powered vehicles. Additionally, they developed cooling designs for battery modules and executed battery testing.

From 2021 to 2022, YenChe worked at Nimbus Group as a Supply Chain and Mechanical Engineer, where they coordinated supply chain activities for prototype manufacturing and developed a swappable battery pack.

Most recently, YenChe joined Olympian Motors (YC-22) in 2023 as a Lead Project Engineer, where they will oversee and lead project engineering activities.
