Darcy Mercer

Darcy Mercer, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a strong background in human resources and sales, with over 20 years of experience. Currently, Darcy serves as the Head of People and Culture at Olympic Industries ULC, where they have been since August 2020. Prior to this role, Darcy worked as the Recruitment & Training Manager for the same company from September 2012 to August 2020.

Before joining Olympic Industries ULC, Darcy worked at TPD® Workforce & HR Solutions from December 2008 to August 2012. During this time, they held the positions of Recruitment Team Leader and Recruiter, specializing in permanent services in Canada.

Earlier in their career, Darcy worked at Cymax Online Stores as a Sales Manager from November 2007 to November 2008, and as an Inside Sales Representative from October 2006 to November 2007.

Darcy's career started at Coolforever in June 2000, where they worked as a Sales & Logistics Coordinator until October 2006.

Darcy Mercer, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, obtained an Associate Certificate in Human Resources Management from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2021. In 2014, Darcy completed a program on Business Analytics for Competitive Advantage at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Additionally, Darcy received a Certificate in Professional Telephone Sales from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2008. In terms of higher education, Darcy pursued Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. Darcy is also a CPHR member, affiliated with CPHR BC & Yukon, and holds the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
