Michael Ismert

Michael Ismert is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in high-performance systems and database development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at OM1, Inc. since February 2016, Michael previously held a Software Engineer position at VoltDB from June 2009 to March 2015, contributing significantly to the development of a distributed OLTP database. As a founder and Member of Technical Staff at Vanu, Inc. from September 1998 to March 2009, Michael played a pivotal role in the company's growth and development. Early career experience includes a Research Staff position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Michael contributed to groundbreaking software radio projects. Michael holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
