Dr. Michael Guarnaccia has extensive experience in the field of fertility and reproductive care. Michael currently serves as the Medical Director at Oma Fertility, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to joining Oma Fertility, Dr. Guarnaccia worked as an Associate Professor at New York Medical College starting in November 2018. Michael was also a Physician at Extend Fertility from May 2018 to May 2022.

Dr. Guarnaccia's earlier experiences include their tenure as an Associate Professor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital from July 2008 to June 2017, where they previously served as an Assistant Professor from August 2004 to July 2008. During this time, they also held the role of Medical Director at Columbia University Center for Women's Reproductive Care from August 2004 to June 2017. Prior to these positions, Dr. Guarnaccia worked as an Attending Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital Center for Infertility and Reproductive Surgery starting in September 1999. Michael also served as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School during the same period.

Michael Guarnaccia MD, MPH, FACOG obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Rochester between 1982 and 1986. Michael then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 1987 to 1991, specializing in Medicine. In 2013, Michael enrolled at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in 2015.
