Jacques Oosthuizen

Jacques Oosthuizen currently serves as General Manager at OMA Group in Africa since August 2023. Previously, Jacques held several key positions, including Commercial Manager for the Middle East & Africa and Branch/Operations Manager at Inchcape Shipping Services from May 2019 to April 2023. Jacques’ experience in logistics includes roles such as Coordinator for Clearing & Forwarding at Manica Group Namibia, Shipping Supervisor at Trans Ocean Logistics, and Agency Coordinator at both Socopao Namibia Shipping and Safmarine MPV. Additional experience includes working as a Clearing & Forwarding Consultant at Woker Freight Services and as a Clearing and Ship's Agent at Bolloré Africa Logistics. Jacques holds a FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding & Logistics from Global Maritime Legal Solutions, completed between 2017 and 2018, and is a graduate of Walvis Bay High School.
