Amy Mather

Amy Mather is an accomplished library professional with extensive experience in management, technology, and education. Currently serving as Partnerships Manager and Adult Services & Programming Manager at Omaha Public Library since February 2008, Amy has established a subject librarian team focused on community engagement and developed signature events across a 12-branch library system. Previous roles include Technology Librarian, where responsibility involved overseeing the library's website development, and Adjunct Faculty at Metropolitan Community College, teaching essential workplace skills. Amy's earlier career at ProQuest and CSA included progressive roles in technology product management, project management, and web development. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of New Mexico.
