Casey Carrell

Casey Carrell currently serves as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist and HR Generalist at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium since June 2015, providing expertise in risk management, workers' compensation, and safety program implementation. Responsibilities include investigating worker's compensation and liability cases, maintaining access systems, and assisting with COVID-19 tracking. Previously held the position of Security Officer, focusing on operational risk management and safety response. Prior military experience includes serving as a Mortarman in the United States Marine Corps from July 2009 to July 2013, leading a team during deployments in Afghanistan. Casey Carrell holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Bellevue University, obtained between 2013 and 2017.
