Jerold McDonald

Jerold McDonald is the CEO and Co-Founder of Omaiven Health. Jerold has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on revenue cycle management and change management. Jerold has a proven track record of leading teams and improving organizational performance.

Prior to Omaiven, Jerold was the Director of Onboarding at athenahealth, a leading cloud-based EHR company. In this role, they led a team of 170+ consultants who onboarded clients nationwide on athena's platform and service offerings.

Before athenahealth, Jerold was a Consulting Manager at Huron Consulting Group, a global consulting practice for several industries, notably healthcare + revenue cycle. In this role, they served as an advisor and counterpart for client executives, with direct responsibility for ongoing transformation of multiple departments/divisions within the revenue cycle at many of the nation's largest and most respected health systems.

Jerold began their career in healthcare as a Service Line Leader for Operations at Houston Methodist. In this role, they were responsible for the operational performance of the service line, including financial performance, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction scores.

Jerold McDonald has a Master of Science from Trinity University in Health Care Administration, a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in Economics, and a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin in Corporate Communication. Jerold also has Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Houston Methodist.
