Salim al-Sawafi

Salim Al-Sawafi is currently serving as a Senior Officer in Finance at Oman Air since January 2023. Prior to this role, Salim worked at PwC from September 2019 to December 2022 as a Senior Financial Auditor, where responsibilities included executing comprehensive financial audits and ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Salim also held the position of Financial Auditor at Petroleum Development Oman during a training program in mid-2018, focusing on pension fund analysis and accounting tasks. Salim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from A'Sharqiyah University and has completed a Certificate in International Auditing from ACCA, alongside additional education at King's College London and the University of Leeds. Currently, Salim is pursuing the FMVA certification from the Corporate Finance Institute®.
