Amith Singh

Amith Singh is an experienced banking professional with a strong focus on risk management, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Oman Arab Bank since February 2012. In this role, Amith provides advisory support to the Board Risk Committee and various business leaders, ensuring alignment between the bank's strategic objectives and risk management practices. Previously, Amith held positions including Head of Credit and Market Risk at Oman Arab Bank, Manager of Market, Operational Risk & Basel at Ahli Bank S.A.O.G, and Sr. Manager of Credit & Market Risk at Dena Bank. Amith's career began in management roles and sales supervision, complemented by an MBA in Finance from Shivaji University and a CAIIB certification from the Indian Institute of Banking.
