Karen Bollenbach

Karen Bollenbach is a seasoned professional in quality assurance and regulatory management, currently serving as the Quality & Regulatory Senior Manager at Attindas Hygiene Partners since 2023, where significant improvements were made to GMP and internal auditing programs, as well as processes for evaluating Certificate of Analyses. Previously, Karen held the position of Quality Assurance Engineer at Abrasive Technology from 2019 to 2022, where expertise was leveraged to develop quality assurance processes for the Aerospace Group and coordinate external audits. Karen's experience also includes a role as Research Engineer at Carpenter Co. from 2014 to 2018, which involved collaboration on product development that met customer specifications, achieving substantial cost reductions. Earlier work as a VMEC Summer Scholar in 2013 included a thesis on thin film synthesis and sustainable energy applications, presented to both academic and governing audiences. Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science (Materials Science/Mechanical) from the University of Virginia.
