Clare Swinhoe has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Clare is currently working at Omega Plastics as the Head of HR since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Group HR Manager at Omega Plastics from January 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Omega Plastics, Clare served as a Human Resources Officer (Interim) at the same company from November 2020 to January 2021.
In addition to their HR experience, Clare has a background in law. Clare worked as an Associate at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP from November 2017 to January 2018, and previously at Bond Dickinson LLP from May 2013 to October 2017. Prior to that, they were a Solicitor at Dickinson Dees from April 2008 to April 2013, where they also held the role of Professional Support Lawyer in the Litigation Department. In this role, Clare provided training and development support to dispute resolution lawyers and managed the Risk and Best Practice Team.
Earlier in their career, Clare worked as a Solicitor at Muckle LLP from September 2002 to February 2008. Clare began their legal career at the Legal Services Commission in December 1997 as a Senior Caseworker and eventually became the head of the legal team, responsible for work flow targets and reporting to senior managers. Clare also delivered training on technical issues during their time at the Legal Services Commission.
Outside of their legal and HR roles, Clare served as the Vice Chair of Governors at St Teresa's Catholic Primary School from September 2017 to October 2021.
Clare Swinhoe attended Newcastle University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned an LLB degree in Law. Prior to that, they attended St. Bede's College in Manchester from 1987 to 1994, but their degree and field of study are unknown.
