Riku Rastas

Riku Rastas has over 12 years of work experience. In 2020, they began working as an Operational Manager for Omegawave, where they are responsible for managing operations ranging from suppliers to manufacturing, service development to testing. From 2019 to 2015, they worked as a Business Designer for Nordic Bioproducts Group Ltd, a Strategizer for Eve-Tech Oy, and a Specialist - Engineering Networks and Engineering Strategy Assistant / Thesis worker for Outotec. From 2010 to 2009, they were a Marketing Promoter for EF Education First and an Editor in Chief for the Student union of Lappeenranta University of Technology. Additionally, from 2008 to 2007, they were a Research Assistant and Secretary of Communications for the Student union of Lappeenranta University of Technology, and an Infrastructure Caretaker for Vimpa Island.

Riku Rastas attended Anjalankoski High School from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Matriculation Examination. Riku then attended the NCO School of Karelian Artillery Regiment from 2005 to 2006. From 2006 to 2013, Riku Rastas attended LUT University, where they obtained a M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus.Adm.) School of Business in Strategy Research. Riku also attended Mannheim Business School in 2011 for Exchange studies in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In 2009, they attended Háskóli Íslands for Exchange studies in International Business / Icelandic culture, and University Centre of the Westfjords (Iceland) for a Summer School in Icelandic language studies. In 2013, they obtained a Työturvallisuuskortti / Occupational Safety Card from Työturvallisuuskeskus ry. In 2017, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology for Platform Strategies for Business, and also for Business Administration and Management, General. Riku is currently attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology for Platform Strategies for Business.
