Ann Derabbie

Ann DeRabbie has extensive work experience in the field of communications and public affairs. Ann began their career in 1994 as an intern with the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme (OLIP). Ann then worked as a researcher and legislative assistant at the Office of the Leader of the Opposition, Office of MPP Michael Gravelle from 1995 to 1999. In 1999, they joined York University as a Special Assistant in the Office of the President.

In 2001, Ann DeRabbie joined Scotiabank and held progressively senior roles in public affairs until 2009. Ann then became the Director of Public Affairs until 2014, and later served as the Director of Leadership and Mergers & Acquisitions in the Canadian Banking Human Resources department from 2014 to 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, Communications and Projects, Canadian Banking Human Resources.

Since 2017, Ann DeRabbie has been working at OMERS. Ann initially held the position of Vice President, Communications and Media Relations from 2017 to 2019, and currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Communications.

Ann DeRabbie has a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Political Science from Queen's University. Ann also holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from McMaster University. However, specific start and end years for their education are not provided.
