Leeanne Barnes

Leeanne Barnes is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in enterprise and operational risk across various sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Risk at OMERS since October 2020, Leeanne leads the Enterprise Operational Risk Management program. Previously, at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan from August 2013 to September 2020, Leeanne directed the organization's enterprise risk management program, focusing on maturity and developing the Operational Risk Management program. At Tangerine from December 2005 to July 2013, Leeanne held dual roles as Director of Operational Risk and Fraud & AML, managing the ORM program and chairing the Operational Risk Committee. Leeanne's career began at Deloitte from January 2001 to December 2005, where engagement was managed across various industries, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise risk services.
