Péter Horváth

Péter Horváth is a Senior Backend Engineer at Ometria since July 2020, focused on building scalable cloud-based microservices for a multi-channel marketing platform. Prior to this role, Péter served as a Software Engineer at Holiday Extras from September 2017 to July 2020, enhancing a high-traffic e-commerce platform and transitioning the tech stack to cloud-hosted Node. At Cisco (August 2013 - July 2017), Péter held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Integration Engineer, contributing to an OTT video platform on AWS and developing various client applications. Earlier experience includes working as an Embedded Software Developer at Ericsson (July 2009 - August 2013) and completing an internship at SZTAKI in 2008-2009, focusing on Matlab and C++ development in computer vision. Péter holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, obtained in 2009.
