Judith Coenen

Judith Coenen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental conservation and ecology. Currently serving as a senior toezichthouder soortenbescherming at Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord since December 2017, Judith focuses on the oversight of protected flora and fauna. Previously, Judith worked as an ecologist at De Roever Omgevingsadvies, contributing to various ecological assessments and permitting processes. Judith's background also includes teaching environmental education in Brazil and advising on ecological water quality and restoration projects for Waterschap De Dommel. Additionally, Judith has coordinated nature conservation projects at Elachee Nature Science Center. Judith holds an MSc in Biology with a specialization in ecology from Leiden University and a BSc in agriculture and livestock management from Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch.
