Jens Schumacher

Jens Schumacher is currently a Senior Advisor for external and environmental safety at Omgevingsdienst Zuid-Holland Zuid, providing guidance to municipalities in the Zuid-Holland Zuid region on urban development and environmental safety. Previously, Jens held various roles at DuPont, including Co-lead of the Corporate Alarm Management Technology Team and Alarm Management Guardian, where responsibilities included developing alarm management strategies and improving alarm system metrics. Jens also worked at ExxonMobil as a Process Engineer Reliability and has extensive process engineering experience in different technologies. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Technology from the University of Twente.
