Simon Lancaster

Simon Lancaster is a seasoned technology and engineering executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as General Partner and Founder of Omni Ventures since May 2020, Simon focuses on investing in DeepTech founders at early stages. Additionally, Simon holds a Board Member position at Carbon Mobile while contributing as Chief Technology Officer and Late Co-Founder, where efforts are directed towards enhancing 5G connectivity in carbon fiber devices. Previous roles include Head of Engineering & Strategy at ARRIS and Advanced Materials and Prototyping Lead at Apple, where Simon made significant advancements in materials innovation and manufacturing processes, contributing to over 21 patents. Simon's academic credentials include a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, an Executive MBA with a focus on Innovation and Strategic Leadership from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and a course in Fundamentals of Manufacturing Processes from MIT.
