Vivian Hsieh

Vivian Hsieh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and engineering. Vivian began their career as a Co-op Student in the Piret Laboratory at Michael Smith Laboratories in 2005 and continued as an Undergraduate Researcher in the same laboratory at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2008. Vivian further gained experience as a Co-op Student in Bioprocess Development at Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2006. In 2010, they worked as an Engineering Consultant at both Novartis and Morgan Stanley. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Graduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in 2012. In 2017, they joined xCella Biosciences as a Research Scientist before being promoted to the position of Senior Scientist. In 2020, they transitioned to Ligand Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Research Scientist before joining OmniAb, Inc. in 2022 in the same role.
