David Barry

David Barry is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in corporate tax compliance and advisory. Currently serving as Group Tax Director at Omnicom since January 2016, David previously held the position of Director of Tax. Prior to that role, David was Head of UK Tax at Walgreens Boots Alliance from March 2007 to December 2015, and served as Tax Manager at Virgin Management Ltd from September 2001 to March 2007, with a brief secondment to Virgin Atlantic. David began their career as a Tax Consultant at PwC, working from September 1997 to September 2001. Academically, David holds a degree in French & Management Studies and French & Economics & Business from Reading University, an MA in Economics from EM Strasbourg Business School, and A Levels in Economics & languages from Wellington College Belfast.
