John Whiting

John Whiting is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security. Currently serving as the Global Director of Cyber Risk at Omnicom since December 2021, John oversees the development of the company's global cyber risk management initiative. Prior to this role, John held positions including Global Chief Security Officer at DDB, Director of Information Security at AIG, and various consulting roles at Protiviti and New York Life Insurance Company. With a career that began in the mid-1990s, John has demonstrated leadership in governance, risk, and compliance, and has successfully managed security operations across multiple organizations, including Publishers Clearing House and Unified Technologies. John holds a BS in Legal Studies from John Jay College (CUNY).
