Unnur B. Vilhjálmsdóttir

Unnur B. Vilhjálmsdóttir has a diverse work experience in various fields. Unnur B. began their career as a Police Officer at the Icelandic Police in 2005. In 2008, they moved to the Icelandic bank, Íslandsbanki, as a Legal Advisor. In 2009, they were a Legal Advisor at the Icelandic Defense Agency. In 2010, they were the Director of PR and Events at the World EXPO 2010 at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Iceland. In 2012, they became an Attorney At Law at Icelandic Legal / Íslenska lögfræðistofan. In 2018, they joined Valitor as a Senior Legal Counsel / Head of Corporate Governance and Board Secretary where they acted as Valitor board, BARC and BRC secretary and the registered Company Secretary for Valitor UK companies. In 2021, they moved to Isavia as a Senior Legal Counsel and is currently the Head of Legal at OMNIO since 2022.

Unnur B. Vilhjálmsdóttir obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Law from Reykjavik University from 2007 to 2009. Unnur B. then went on to get their Master's degree in Law from Reykjavik University from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they obtained the Attorney at Law certification from the Icelandic Barr Association. In 2017 to 2018, they attended Háskóli Íslands and studied Project Management and Leadership. Finally, in May 2018, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the International Project Management Association.
