Erin DeBlasi

Erin DeBlasi has held a variety of roles in the scientific and animal behavior fields. Erin began their career in 2012 as an Animal Behaviorist at both Paw Printz Inc. and Purrfect Paws Animal Behavior Center. In 2014, they became a Test Technician at Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services. In 2015, they were a Laboratory Technologist at IMMCO Diagnostics Inc. and in 2017, they were a Research Scientist III, High Content Assay Development and Screening at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.). Most recently, in 2022, they became a Research and Development Scientist at OmniSeq.

Erin DeBlasi obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General/Animal Behavior, Ecology & Conservation from Canisius College between 2008 and 2012. Erin then went on to obtain their Associate's Degree in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant from Medaille University between 2013 and 2014. Erin is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician from the New York State Education Department. Most recently, they obtained their Master of Science - MS in Biology/Biological Sciences, General/Integrative Genomics/Environmental Science from the University of Saint Joseph in 2021.
