Kamal Gupta

Kamal Gupta is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud services and engineering. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Omnistrate and Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, Kamal previously held significant roles at Confluent, where revenue grew 4-5x and contributed to scaling Confluent Kafka Cloud to over $200 million ARR. At Amazon Web Services, Kamal played a pivotal role in developing various services, resulting in a revenue growth from zero to billions and earned over 30 patents. Kamal has received the prestigious ACM SIGMOD Award in 2019 for contributions to large-scale data management systems. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
