Bill Gaertner's work experience begins in 2006 as an Assistant Planner at the Crawford County Planning Commission. Bill then worked as a Forestry Technician at the Arapahoe National Forest for the US Forest Service in 2009, where they received a Merit of Achievement Award. In 2009, they also worked as a Ski Instructor at Winter Park Resort. In 2010, they joined Colorado State Parks as a GIS Technician, overseeing various forestry projects and training park staff in the use of GPS units. From 2011 to 2018, Bill worked at the Colorado State Land Board, initially as an Inventory Manager and later as an Inventory and Data Systems Manager. In 2018, they joined OmniTRAX, Inc. as a Business System Analyst, eventually being promoted to Senior Business System Analyst in February 2019.
Bill Gaertner attended Allegheny College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science. In addition, they obtained the NetSuite Certified Administrator certification in January 2019 and the NetSuite Certified SuiteFoundations certification in December 2018.
