Alex Yi

Alex Yi has a strong background in analog design engineering. Alex worked as a Principal analog design engineer at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. from 2017. Alex'sresponsibilities included CIS sensor timing design and verification, CIS XDEC, column ADC and ASRAM design, layout and simulation. Before that, they worked as a Sr Project Manager at Xin Chu IC from 2011 to 2016, where they managed the 40nm PCM project and supported 180nm process development for Microchip. Prior to that, they held the position of Project Leader at Atmel Corporation from 2009 to 2011, where they led the design of analog blocks and developed a veriloga based full chip simulation flow. Alex also worked as an Analog Designer at Huawei Technologies from 2009 to 2009 and as a Senior Analog Designer at MOSYS from 2008 to 2009. Alex began their career as a Junior / Senior Design Engineer at SST from 2003 to 2007, where they gained experience in Super-Flash embedded IP and standard-alone products.

Alex Yi earned a Bachelor's degree in Solid state electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in the years 1996 to 2000. Following this, Alex completed a Master's degree in Pattern recognition and artificial intelligence from the same university from 2000 to 2003.
