Amit Mittra

Amit Mittra has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Amit is currently serving as the VP of Engineering and GM at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Himax Imaging for 14 years, starting in 2007. During their time at Himax Imaging, they held multiple roles including CTO, Vice President of Research and Development, and Chief Architect. Before joining Himax Imaging, Amit worked at Biomorphic as an Image Sensor & Mixed Signal Design Engineer from February 1999 to December 2006.

Amit Mittra completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi between 1994 and 1998. Amit also holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Managing Human and Social Capital" and "Introduction to Marketing" from Coursera in the year 2020.
