Darryl Mitchell, PMP has worked in the engineering and program management field since 1992. Darryl began their career with the USAF as a Major. In 2002, they joined SAIC as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they conducted architectural and engineering analysis and managed a team of 17 full-time staff. In 2004, they moved to Northrop Grumman as a Program Manager, where they directed all phases of programs/projects from inception through completion. In 2011, they began working for both CACI International Inc and L-3 Communications as a Principal Systems Engineer and Senior Engineering Consultant, respectively. In 2021, they joined Omnyon as a Principal System Engineer.
Darryl Mitchell, PMP completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University between 1987 and 1992. Darryl then went on to obtain their Master of Science in Technology Systems from University of Maryland Global Campus between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Transitioning from Manager to Leader, Learning Gantt Charts, Strategic Thinking, Fred Kofman on Managing Conflict, Getting Things Done, and Learning Zoom. Darryl also holds certifications from Defense Acquisition University in DAWIA SPRDE Level II and Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP).
