Dr. Mostafa Gabr has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. DR.Mostafa started their career as an Architect at the Consulting group for Studies and Design Office in 1977. DR.Mostafa then worked as a Senior Architect at Housing Counseling from 1982 to 1984. In 1986, they served as a Landscape Architect at RMJM. From 1981 to 1985, they had their own Private Practice as an Architect. In 1979, they joined the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University as an Assistant Lecturer and remained there until 1993. DR.Mostafa then worked as an Assistant Professor at King Faisal University from 1993 to 1996. Dr. Gabr returned to Alexandria University and became an Associate Professor from 1997 to 2000. Since 2000, they have been a Professor at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, where they guide and supervises architectural students in their design projects. Additionally, Dr. Gabr is the Managing Director and Founder of Omran Architects since 1990.
Dr. Mostafa Gabr's education history is as follows. DR.Mostafa completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art in 1990. Prior to that, in 1986, they earned another Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the same institution, specializing in Landscape Architecture. In 1985, Dr. Gabr obtained a Diploma in Landscape Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art as well. DR.Mostafa began their educational journey by earning a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Alexandria University in 1977. Lastly, their Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering and Environmental Design was also obtained from Alexandria University.
