Yorben Weststrate

Yorben Weststrate is an experienced sports journalist with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Sportverslaggever at Omroep Zeeland since October 2014, Yorben has contributed as a freelance journalist for Staantribune and the KNVB from 2013 to 2016. Previous roles include journalism at Clubwatcher, Z-Press Junior Media, where five regional newspapers were produced, and PZC, focusing on match reports and interviews. Yorben began a promising career in journalism with an internship at the KNVB web editorial team, achieving high academic marks. Yorben holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and completed secondary education at Nehalennia.
