Darshan Boerema

Darshan Boerema is a journalist with extensive experience in media and communication, currently working for YouTube since January 2015, focusing on societal issues through investigative journalism. In addition to the YouTube role, Darshan holds a position as a social media editor at Omrop Fryslân and has held various roles at Albert Heijn since December 2015, including shift leader, team leader in sales readiness, and staff member in the fruit and vegetable section. Darshan's past experiences include vlogging for RTL programs, interning in video editing at NDC Mediagroep, and acting as a content creator for Gemeente Heerenveen, aiming to engage youth in the voting process. Darshan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Business at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and has completed other relevant education, including a Bachelor's degree in Creative Business from NHL Stenden and a media-related vocational qualification from ROC Friese Poort.
