Christina Verchere

Christina Verchere is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as CEO of OMV Petrom since May 2018, Christina has previously held significant positions at BP, including Regional President for Asia Pacific, President and CEO of BP Canada Energy Group, and VP of Upstream Programme Management Office, where management of restructuring initiatives was a key focus. Christina's career at BP also included leadership roles such as E&P Chief of Staff and Performance Unit Leader for Southern NA Gas. Earlier experience at Amoco UK Ltd involved economic analysis and planning for North Sea assets. Christina holds a Master's degree in Economic Science from the University of Aberdeen.
