Stephan Hannke

Stephan Hannke is an accomplished professional in the field of geothermal energy and petroleum engineering, currently serving as Head of Geothermal Energy Germany and Business Development Geothermal Application at OMV since January 2022. Prior to this role, Stephan held various senior positions at OMV, including Head of Development at OMV Petrom, overseeing near-field exploration and field redevelopment in Romania, and Head of Petroleum Engineering for the Middle East and Caspian regions. Additional experience includes directorial responsibilities at Eavor Technologies Inc., senior geophysicist roles at Shell E&P, and geophysicist positions at BP E&P. Stephan holds a Diplom Geophysik (MSc) in Geophysics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
